Fuglsang Have B&B is a unique extension from 1968-69, originally created as a guest house for visitors to the former manor retreat. Today, the building is a charming terraced house with six atmospheric rooms - each with its own personality and history.

Located just a two-minute walk from Fuglsang Herregaard, on the other side of the moat in the centre of the idyllic Fuglsang Garden, the B&B offers a stay in peaceful and green surroundings. Wake up to birdsong, fresh air and the sight of the old trees that frame the garden like a quiet breathing space.

Upon arrival, you check in at the The manor house, Here you can also enjoy the homemade breakfast buffet filled with local produce and small treats from the kitchen. After breakfast, you can take a leisurely walk in the park, visit the nearby Fuglsang Art Museum, enjoy a coffee and home baking in the café or indulge in a delicious dinner in the ViGGo N restaurant. Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen's room

Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen's room is named after the painter and art theorist Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen (1909-1957). Bjerke Petersen is represented in the room with Five Compositions, 1951, 126/150. Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen was a veteran of the great breakthrough based on surrealism in the interwar period. He was educated in the Bauhaus school with Kandinsky and Klee as well as in Norway and spent a long period in Sweden. His work is about the integration of art in a larger social context. These lithographs are examples of his late concrete works.

Mogens Andersen's room

Mogens Andersen's room is named after the painter Mogens Andersen (1916-2003). Mogens Andersen is represented in the room by examples of his graphic work. Mogens Andersen was a pioneer among the abstract painters of his generation. He was strongly French orientated and expressive. Mogens Andersen's works are frequently characterised by a dark or blue complex drawing on a light background.

Preben Hornung's room

Preben Hornung's room is named after the painter Preben Hornung (1919-1989). Preben Hornung was a painter and graphic artist who largely depicted the world around him in a pure and clear style where only the colour and surface remain. preben-hornungThe images are unimaginative in a play with shapes, colours and texture. Hornung is characterised by his backward orientation. However, his sublime art is indispensable. Preben Hornung is well represented at Fuglsang Art Museum.

Anna-Lisa Reuter-Lorenzen's room

Anna-Lisa Reuter-Lorenzen's room is named after the watercolourist Anna-Lisa Reuter-Lorenzen (1909-2001). Anna-Lisa Reuter-Lorenzen is represented in the room with her watercolours and pen drawings with motifs from the area around Corselitze on East Falster. Anna-Lisa Reuter-LorenzenAnna-Lisa Reuter-Lorenzen settled in East Falster in 1951 and worked naturalistically, mainly with watercolour and pen. She was very interested in the life and work of Bodil de Neergaard.

Sven Dalsgaard's room
